Brian The Blunt
« on March 23, 2013, 05:30:55 pm by RoversAlias »
Brian is at it again with his usual brand of b*llocks as I travel home from today's fantastic win. According to him:

We're gonna beat them in the play-off final!
We were stupid for 'getting rid of the manager to Wolves'
Going backwards under Flynn!?
Danny Wilson is terrible
He hopes Sheff U dont go up to prove his own point that they wont go up
Blames Sheff U for Ched Evans and says Chelsea were gonna come in for him!

Hilarious. Man has lost his nut. Five points clear, come on you reds!

What better team talk could you have than playing that to the players before a game !!

Even by his standards today was priceless. What an embarrassment.

Ched evens would have been sold for 10-15 million LOL

Was driving the M180 listening to this tool. £10-15 million for Ched Evans what planet is this guy on? Other blunts fans must be so embarrassed by the drivel he talks.

Brian is a family friend of a former colleague of mine (an Owl funnily enough). He is a life-long Blade and is a serial wind-up merchant, to the point of jotting notes when he thinks of his next target.

Brian's been playing around at this for as long as I can remember on Radio Sheffield. On the one hand, it's quite funny. On the other hand, it's quite sad that anyone would devote themselves so fully to winding people up for over 10 years.

I must be thinking of one of the other blades, feel sure one of the serial WUM's admitted being a Barnsley fan on air one day. LOL at taking notes though, even funnier that folk think he's being serious!

I remember a few years back some Wednesday fan ringing up and the presenter asked him where he was ringing from and he said 'I'm in mi kitchen'.

It's not as sad as Radio Sheffield letting him.

To be fair, he gets people calling in and gets people talking. Some websites pay for the privilege of having someone stir the pot on their comments sections, and here RS are getting it for free. I bet they rub their hands with glee every time he rings up.

Radio Sheffield love him really. I bet they were delighted to have Nick tight steward back tonight as well.

Is Brian the Blunt really a Sunday league manager at Parkgate?

Edit I mean if he was telling me how to play football...

He claims to have won the league with youth teams many times.  Maybe he has, but he doesnt fill me with confidence.

Probably just the kind of bloke who is holding British youth football back.

In all the years I've heard Brian talk I've never actually heard him impart any of his footballing insight. He bangs on about "the engine room" a lot and seems to agree that the key to winning is scoring lots of goals, which is fine, but it's not exactly footballing Confucius is it?
