Coventry City v Doncaster Rovers (15:00)
Referee: MARK HALSEY
Assistants: Lee Betts and Matthew Wilkes
Fourth Official Carl Berry

Happy about the appointment, though worth noting that Halsey was the referee and Wilkes the assistant in the Wigan-Newcastle game recently. They managed to "see" that leg-breaking tackle, though not well enough to take any action. Shame that an appointment to a League One game is seen as "punishment" for officials.

No real complaints. I thought he played some good advantages and kept his cards in his pockets. He could have dealt with Murphy's timewasting more effectively though.

As for the "penalty" I think it is one of those that you might get every now and then, but most refs will err on the side of caution inside the box. I'd have been disappointed if that had been given against us.
