Agreed, very good Pete.  One "schoolboy error", though.  McGoldrick is now at Ipswich so should be no danger to us today ;) .  Forest recalled him and then sent him there.

Great write up as usual, I`ll be listening to Rovers Player Commentary via the iphone and bluetooth ear piece while driving the Taxi around the area, hope i don`t get any gobby customers between 3pm and 4.50pm, and no phone calls please!

Hey, I'm just glad he's not playing for them today.  Far too good a player for L1

They did well getting McGoldrick and paying him a "fraction" of his wages. Though that was still beyond their means in a desperate gamble to get back to the Championship.

Interesting game today with Cov being an attacking side and us tending to sit back and counter. Maybe without McGoldrick we have a better chance, but I'm not sure its the best tactic to sit too far back.

An interesting part of today will be the midfield subs. I think it will be Lundstram to start with Furman benched. So then there's the CM like for like swap of Furman and Lundstram or the slightly more defensive move of Furman on for Copps. And the usual Paynter on for Brown/Hume, and I hope to see Wakefield get a game but suspect we'll be doing a Bennett on for Cotts.

I also reckon Quinn will be starting - Flynns RP interview sounded a bit like a smokescreen to me.

Re Bennett for Cotts - Cotts is on 9 Yellows. I think the amnesty for 10 cards may kick into play this weekend so I can see him being subbed later on.

P.S. Good read as always Fuzzy

Are you sure? I thought card amnesty day was the second Sunday in April.

<added>
Just checked on the FA page and it is the second sunday in April. I doubt Cotts could go 5 games without a yellow - thats then 2 games out.

Jones is on 8 yellows, Hume 5 yellow and a red.

Team (from BBC site):

    33 Woods
    03 Husband
    05 Jones
    14 Spurr
    16 McCombe
    19 Griffin
    11 Cotterill
    12 Lundstram
    26 Coppinger
    09 Brown
    17 Hume

Substitutes

    01 Sullivan
    15 Wakefield
    20 Harper
    35 Furman
    08 Paynter
    18 Sinclair
    23 Bennett

So Griffin in for Quinn only change; Furman and Harper on the bench

Edit: Presumably Griffin at RB, but might it possibly be Husband at RB, Griffin CM and Coppinger wide?

Sensible option is a straight swap, Griffin to right back for Quinn. No point messing it all up and putting 3 players out of position.

Is this game available to be listened to on any radio stations today chaps?
