This weekend just gone (which meant I missed the Tranmere Game) I was involved in a 5 minute Short Sci-Fi Film that was written, shot, edited and put together in 48 Hrs.
The film was shot on the old pit-stacks in Bentley, Copley Road Project and a medi-spa in Rivelin (Sheffield.)
We got the email from the company running the comp at 12:00 midday on Saturday and the upload to Vimeo was completed at about 12:50pm on Monday (Technically over the 48hrs I know, but the guidelines were to have begun your upload by the end of the 48 hr deadline.)
I'm suffering from lack of sleep and have very uncharacteristically had to miss two DRFC home games on the trot since I was in Australia in 2003/2004 - but the overall end product is pretty good! Check it out!
Just finished one of the most 'interesting' weekend's experiences going. Shoot a film from scratch in 48 hours great fun!

How did you get Billy Paynter to be the star of it?

Thanks Bob - basic premise is that my character was sent on some form of mission to destroy some alien beings or some such! He was basically captured and tortured by the superior beings.
The idea of each scene in between the 'psychiatrist' office scenes is supposed to be flashbacks induced (perhaps) by the submerged first scene!
It was supposed to not answer everything nor question anything apart from Man's alleged superiority over everything and insatiable appetite to destroy!

Don't worry A14. It's just me. I'm a dimwit.
I did get some of it - the flashbacks for example. I missed the woman being a 'superior being' though. Doh.
I thought she was simply a bit of hot totty demonstrating her liking for domination!
Cheers
