Well done I don't think, somebodys smacked in a town centre pub so lets blame it on football because it was after a Doncaster Rovers match

It's amazing really, there was nothing in the article to say either Doncaster rovers or tranmere fans were involved, so why do they feel the need to mention the fact that there was a match on.  It was reported on here as being nobhead rather than football related. FLJ

Sort of like Rovers supporters who see a bad pitch and automatically blame the Dons for being on that pitch, even if they weren't.  It's called human nature or in this case poor journalism.
