A "different" experiment to keep us up
« on May 08, 2013, 06:16:29 pm by Donnywolf »
With Deano gone from Wolves and them with a load of Players on balance (but not in the Table) too good for Division One ....

.... and Rovers with a proven Title winning side but quite a few probably not going to cut it in the Championship ..... why not try an experiment !

Swap the playing squads ! Wolves would have a team / squad / with spirit and proven winning ability and could bounce straight back (keeping the Blunts in check as a bonus) ... and

Rovers would have a great squad especially when everyone was fit. Loads of people want us to sign Ikeme or De Vries in the nets but under my (not so) Master Plan we would have both and Karl Henry Roger Johnson Sylvan E-Blake etc etc ....... and here is the best bit .....

...if Deano comes back to US he would a) know the Players inside out and b) instead of taking the reins in mid season he could start with a level playing field (green by then hopefully !!!) AND I would be confident we would stay up

Come on you know it makes sense lol !

Why not include Bristol City too and have Saunders manage away games with SOD manager at home?

Why on earth would you want us to sign overpriced, too expensive, relegated, don't give too shades of s**t about any club be**ends? I would sooner us stick with the mentality we have now seeing as what you are suggesting would be going back to last season where we signed players like the Wolves ones.

So by May 2014 we'd be back in League 1 and Jones would be lifting the L1 trophy for Wolves? Or am I not quite getting it...

NO .... Rovers would STAY in the Championship utilising the experienced Players of Wolves - because given a second chance they would undoubtedly keep "us" up (with a good Manager and less of an injury crisis)

Play offs anyone ?

Wolves as you spotted would comfortably lift the Div 1 Trophy again with no last day Dramas
