It'll sit beautifully next to the rest of the tourist quality tat that inhabits the club shop. Absolute dross and hardly befitting the teams efforts in winning the title. Whoever signed that one off from the club needs taking out into the car park and thrashing with a DRFC branded draught excluder...

For £1 i'd expect much better! Looks like a child put it together! Be interesting to know the clubs revenue forecast on this product? For £1 if it looked better than what I could produce I would have purchased one, but I do think my 6 month old daughter could produce better! Disappointing!

You`ve got a 6 month old daughter that`s a year old?

Maybe you should get her to construct a post for you :)

Chaps, if you can do better why not construct your own and send it through to them and get them to put it together?

They could have done a competition with this - put a set of photos from the season out for people to design posters and then vote on the best one.

I said I liked it, not that it was of any exceptional quality...

Hard to complain when a family member bought it me as a gift.

EDIT: For the record, I did make this earlier today (You may need to right-click >> open in new tab).

The club did produce their poster in house, which is why it's only a £1.

To use their normal design company would have pushed the price up to about £5. But if there is the demand there I'm sure they'll do it for you.

To use a design company would no way have pushed it up to £5 per poster!

If they expected to sell lets say 500 for arguments sake. That's an extra £2000 in costs from the design company? I'd love to be charging those kind of fees!

If eve the club on expect to sell 100 that would be an extra £400 which seems a lot for a design company to charge for £2-3 hours work.

Maybe if they used Doncaster based design companies they might get better rates...... :suicide:

dp,

you took my explanation literally. What I meant to say that doing a bigger and better poster would mean employing a design company, which would force the price up. Whether it would get that high is anyone's guess but I used that as an indicative figure.

Sorry SM,

Didn't mean to take it literally. All I was meaning was using a local design company this could cost as little as £80, and would mean they could charge £1.50 per poster and recoup the costs in selling just 40 posters....
