Have you bought a season ticket yet?

If not, the club would like you to fill in their online survey with your reasons why not: http://keepmoatstadium.com/form

It`s worth mentioning that season ticket sales so far have generated £800k that is going directly into the playing budget, so if you can afford one please think about buying one to help YOUR club

Or if not a season ticket ,then the multimatch tickets are next best for both fans and the club . I like the fact these do no longer exclude the top games .

All positive BUT, we could be better. I think the survey is not worded very well. We need as much feedback from as wider audience as possible not just confined to those who have not renewed from last season.

I'd rather it have been worded to encourage anyone who has purchased any type of ticket in the last 5 seasons to air their views. Of course, it may not be practical in all cases for people to buy one, but that in itself is good feedback.

I would encourage everyone without a ST, and all their friends/family in the same boat to complete the form so that we can get a better cross section of views.

I still think we could make them slightly cheaper in one section of the ground. Given we won't sell out often next season I think the club could have given this a trial. If it has little/no impact then that argument could be put to bed.

I bought one for me, my mum (for the 6th year running - a 6th surprise birthday present in a row!) and one for my 13yr old nephew - costs me a bloody fortune every year! Saves me thinking about birthday presents though!

this is the perfect opportunity for you to give your reasons to the club if you haven't bought one yet, or don't intend on buying one. I'm sure they would especially want to hear from you if you bought one last year but aren't going to this year.

oh, and once the survey is closed, I don't want to see any more whinging on here about season ticket prices

I went to less than half the half the home games last season, but still had a ST. Don't want to lose my seat, i love it where i am!

Whilst its positive the club are asking fans this question, thats a poor survey form. Its not a survey so much as looking for an opportunity to contact people and make a sale.

Its asking for too much personal info as required info. In terms of required info, asking for a name and email contact is the max. Phone and maybe postcode would be enough as extra info. In any case, have the question first and the details last.

Much better to focus on the reasons why people haven't bought.

Just thought that myself, and if they start using the details for marketing purposes, they are actually breaking the law.

They've contacted people by phone the last couple of seasons with varying degrees of success. I agree though if it's for that purpose alone it's a wasted opportunity not to canvass as many folk and find out why they're not buying. Still, if it helps to persuade some!

They phoned a mate of mine last season

"So, do you think you'll be buying a ST this year?"

"I'm undecided, it's a bit expensive for me, how much is a match ticket?"

"Well we can't tell you that yet, it's not been decided"

"Well I can't tell you if I'm going to buy a season ticket then can I"

proud to say i'm once again a season ticket holder !! i always had a tranche of 4 i shared with my family but once my fat old mum decided it was too much of a slog getting down there and back she stopped renewing...

...thanks to silent majority and in keeping his word, the rovers contacted my old dear and talked her round. now we have 3 for the next season... she's still not keen on those wet, cold tuesday nights in deep winter when have to play "the likes" of QPR or watford for example... better to have one less ST going forward ;)

anyway fabulous work from silent, the co-op in general and the rovers... just shows what the co-op is all about and what a little bit of the human touch can do in the "community"...

congrats to everybody  :rtid:

My Dad is sadly not renewing this year.  He's 82 this year, and has had a ST since we moved to the KMS.

However, his reasoning is sound.  He doesnt want to come out on midweek evenings, so he is having a 10 game multiticket and a 5 game multiticket, and crossing his fingers that there aren't more than 8 midweek games.

funny that, because the figures quoted by Gavin were exactly those that i posted before he released them... strange that
and he DID say we had forcast to be around 4.5-5k by the end, so yes under target....

its ok, dont apologise.  :chair:

Strangely enough I put the figure of 3,500 on here a few weeks ago, but to suggest that we are below target is wrong. The target is to go into the first game of the season with 4,500 st holders, and most st's are now bought in the few weeks before the start of the season.

Hopefully, the the time left before the season starts, we will make up the numbers towards the 4500 plus the club is aiming for.

With fixtures coming out in 9 days? time, one of two good signings and the inevitable pre-season build up, it will encourage those sales. In combination with the Multi-ticket sales, we will have a very good platform to build on.

If we want to be taken seriously in the championship is 4.5k really enough? We may be in a huge recession but to me it does not seem like the town have any confidence we can stay up or that they are potentially bothered about he club

I hope I'm wrong and its a case of building slowly to build confidence and gain the stronger fan base we all hope for

No.  But unfortunately I can only get to a handful of games if I am lucky each season due to living overseas. Make my contribution through shirt sponsorship - that is my excuse and I am sticking to it!

I was wondering how long it would be until someone blamed the recession on season ticket sales.
We are not in a recession. Fact.
