Out of contract with WBA 30th June and possibly not getting a new one.

Please! Please!
What a signing he would be!

He would be on about 15k a week, we can't afford that

I know we can't. I'm dreaming.
I've always liked him and he was one of the few loan players last season who tried. IMO obviously.

I suspect a 'top end' Championship team will get him. Maybe Blackburn if Rhodes goes, QPR etc. someone with more dosh than us

He might have been on 15k a week...but I am not sure anyone else will want to pay that.

Already mentioned him and a number of other prem players who have been release and many are way out of our means! Gutting but the truth!

I read somewhere QPR has signed someone on on £80k a week!

Feckin parachute payments!

Here's an idea:

Suppose we contact his agent and suggest that Fortune could play for us, albeit for a fraction of his usual wages, and we could serve as a kind of 'shop window' for him to attract a bigger club?

Crazy maybe, but it could work.....

Players these days are having to tone down their demands. Those who hold out could be living a very lonely life.

I don't think Fortune will be living a lonely life. He'll be snapped up for sure

Nah that idea is too far fetched Neil,it would never catch on

I Can't believe West Brom let him go,at times he looked a monster of a player for them, they must have a good one lined up to let him go

He wouldn't be here on a shop window scheme this time though.

He probably won't be here at all, like.
