East Riding Sacks Away Shirt
« on June 27, 2013, 12:01:12 pm by Donnywolf »
Has anyone got a photo of the Yellow / Green away Patrick shirt please ?

There is a Red version on e-bay "Buy it now" for £59.99 and three people have made an offer ... so I thought if they fancy that they may fancy this which may be a lot rarer ....so now is the time to off load all the Shirts I bought to frame and put in a Bar

The Bar did not get built and so the Shirts are "off" but try as I might I cant get a good photo and though it is Norwich Yellow it comes out looking horrible.

I attach a photo (the best one of 10 so far) of the shirt pegged on the line and I would like to do better to maximise my chances (it went to Wembley too and flew all the way home M1 of course )

Reminds me of such bad times.  In the style of Duncan Ballatyne, "I'm oot".

If I saw that shirt I'd set fire to it

...but only if Ken Richardson was wearing it, I hope you meant Sam.  Would be harsh on anyone else wearing it at the time (Weaver excepted)

I noticed there were a lot of old Rovers shirts with silly buy it now prices on eBay. More wishful thinking than anything else I reckon, in my experience old footy shirts are worth next to nothing.

I AGREE

There are some as I say at 59.99 but they have had 3 offers to buy and I would fancy knowing how "near" to 59.99 they got !

I'd suggest nowhere near as they are still listed on ebay.

Yes I only took it to Wembley* and had it hidden in the boot in case we won and then I could get it out as a protest / statement of how far we had come !

The Leeds fans did not seem to appreciate the "irony" of it either !

* So technically it went to Stanmore

I sold my seat which I ripped out of the Goldstone Ground at the last game there. Put it on eBay a few years ago and got £300 for it.

Selling stolen goods eh, isn't that a crime.

Knowing or believing them to be stolen for handling. Steal property assuming the rights of the owner with the intent of permanently depriving. Assuming the actions were dishonest. Read it somewhere.

Ah well. I'm pretty sure Brighton didn't miss that seat, or the thousands of others that were "stolen" on the same day. Not to mention the turf as well.

I was there also. I remember watching two or three lads taking away a turnstile.

Hate it, advertising the arsonists company , the shirt would be fine without that on.
