Thought furman Duffy and mvoto were outstanding. And was it Liam Wakefield who came on as right back? ( thought he was a centre half ? ) looks a good prospect.

Positives: Duffy looked good, impressed with Furman, Fernandez good until injury, Kyle Bennett played very well 1st half, Kello looked class in goal.
Negatives: need a goal scorer! Hope Fernandez injury not too bad - that's all really.

All in all I'm feeling quite optimistic with the way we played, passed and tackled.

I thought Keegan looked good second half. Made some good passes and sat back well

Not a moan just for the sake of having a go at Harper but I can't understand why he didn't just hit it when he was in space on the edge of the box on his own towards the end.

He wasn't the only one tho - loads of em could've shot from 20 yards too! I think that's something we need to encourage the players to do full stop - if you don't shoot, you don't score! Simple! It wouldn't hurt a few of em to have a go - having said that maybe they're told not to shoot just for the sake of it, which is fine, but in that case the build up play needs to be a bit more effective!

On the whole I thought it was pretty good today and a decent workout for all!

Sorry but I cannot see where some of you are coming from with the comments about Bennett.

Yes he tried hard and put more effort in than last season but..................He has no brain and doesn't know how to beat a defender.

I seem to remember Bennett playing well in a PSF against Rotherham....doesn't mean a lot?

Agree with the 1st part, but he does know how to beat a defender but for whatever reason he doesn't seem to have the desire to do it. He has a cracking shot on him but doesn't seem to want to let it go. Benchwarmer for me at the best.

Personally i could say the same about cottrill
With copps Duffy and Forrester all playing the same position even playing a 4-2-3-1 system I doubt he will get the same deference he got from Saunders and flynn

Thing about Cotterill is he actually produces and comes out with something from nothing. He can produce a moment of magic in an instant whereas Bennett does sweet f**k all.

See my other post, Cotts and Copps could end up on the bench if Duffy's 2nd half is anything to go by

What wide right? Syers is better through the middle supporting the front man

No. Duffy, Forrester or Cotterill out wide and Syers central.

If those guys start ahead of Copps ON MERIT I will be delighted, as it will mean they are playing out of their skins.
