Aye, hopefully it will silence the naysayers for a time.  :clapping:

Yes agreed. I went into club shop this evening and ordered a home shirt.  They confirmed I would receive a £5 voucher when I collect my shirt.  Excellent gesture from the club especially when it is for something out of their control.

They listen an awful lot. Hopefully some of those posting last night will realise now that there are no conspiracies just disappointments.  Credit to the club for working on this with the kit suppliers. Good to see fans considered.

I would suspect that the five quid is being funded by the suppliers, they are the ones who have let people down, not the club. Either way, a good gesture.

Or embroidered into the back of the home shirt.

Loving the fact that some twunts on Twitter are bitching about the fact that "The Club Statement" is only about shirts (and not, presumably, about signings, investment, etc). They clearly haven't bothered to read it, so on they bitch...  :suicide:

Thankyou DRFC for keeping us informed on why it happened. That's all we wanted.

Gavin told me tonight they were doing this irrespective of any potential reconciliation between the club and Just Sports. So it's a DRFC decision.

The bas**rds. Fancy doing something decent for the fans... Oh it makes me sick!! *fumes*

Only joking. That'll please me ole' mother, that will. She was also thinking of buying my three nippers a shirt each as well - dunno if it applies to that as well, but it might just sway her even if not. I quite fancy parading around Bournemouth with the family all togged up like.  :)*

*Buggritt - if she doesn't, I'll grab some little tops when I am up at the Keepmoat on the 31st.

I noticed in the article that other clubs are also affected including Crystal Palace. Apparently 10 other pro clubs!!
