Tuesday v Rochdale

I think Tuesday would be an ideal chance to give Maxted a game in goal as we are not in the JPT this year and he will need some first team experience in case he is called from the bench as nearly happened yesterday

Rochdale enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over hartlepool  yesterday , if  we start that game of underestimating them then we'll come unstuck.

I don't see why it shouldn't be the same starting XI. They don't play after that till the 16th. The more games they play together the better as far as I'm concerned.

I think Dickov will play the first team as many players have had little over a week with us and this is a good oppurtunity for the team to gel as well as to get some goals hopefully for browny or billy to give them confidence

We should play the starting eleven that started on Saturday our best team. We may have a problem that Richie may not want to be cup tied only being on a short term deal. Lets not take this game lightly we need a positive result, another defeat will do nothing for the team or club.

Agreed.  Plus Jones and Bongo were starting to look like they were establishing a partnership.  They need game time together, and a different keeper behind them could slow that.  Jones/Bongo/Turnbull should play together as much as possible.

Hopefully we can win. My old man will be going (80 next birthday). He was a regular from the late 40's until the early 2000's when he moved away. He doesn't get to many games now but visiting Donny and getting to the game.

Play the best 11 we have got.  We need game time and there is over a week before the next league game.
