We've been shocking at the back tonight.
Leeds are a cut above

What the same Matt Smith who scored headers against Premier League Everton in the cup last year?

We were shocking at the back tbf. We lacked tempo aswell until we scored. When it was 1-1 I thought we would win though.

Does that mean hes a world beater then?! He just wiped the floor with Rob Jones all night unfortunately. Very rare Jones gets beat in his strongest area

If he is too slow for Smith then he must have been on crutches tonight then!

Jones struggled against him inthe air, poor game from him tonight. Smith's good in the air and his header was superb.

He was beating England centre back Phil Jagielka last season. Nowt to be ashamed of even if you are 6"7.

Wouldn't describe his header as superb he was five hards out and climbed all over jones.
Dickov was going mad for 10-15 mins, even got someone to go watch the video

They are going to be climbing they are too big lads battling for it in the air so that's just an excuse in my opinion.

Thought Jones was very poor. As too was Wabara and Robinson.
We were found out tonight. Leeds deserved the win.

I'm amazed people are blaming Jones over the full backs. Gave Leeds' wingers acres of space - were they being told to do that? and you just knew they'd either spread it wide or put a ball over the covering back winger. I know he hardly had his best game for us though.

Don't know what Wabara was up to tonight but looked poor for me.

Either that or it's blatant fouling ignored by the officials :headbang:

To be fair to the full backs they got no protection from our midfield wide players all night

Surely not they were brilliant officials  They had their remit and carried it off to a tee.

I know this sounds like whining, but the corner preceding their 1st goal curled out and back in again, and from the family stand their 2nd looked like a foul by Smith - he "leaned over his marker" the DROS report eloquently puts it

Was anyone closer than me that got a better view? I haven't seen goals on SSN yet btw

It definitely went out for a goal kick then curled back in. But then we had a chance to clear our lines but didn't.

When Wabara gave the pen away it was about his 4th attempt at taking a man down in the box, he looked desperate to give them a penalty. He's been decent so far but had a bad evening, likewise Theo, both will have better days.

We gave them far too much apace on the wings.  Their left winger caused chaos all second half but we had no Plan B to counteract it.  Wellens immense again, and Forester sent over a great ball just after he came on that Billy just failed to get his head to.  Need some work on the training ground to tighten up at the back.   Wasn't Smith at Oldham =  I would have thought PD would have warned Jonesy about him.

I know for a fact they'd spent all day working on it as PD knew Smith was going to play. Even more disappointing we couldn't cope with him.
