Had a spare couple of hours to waste before the Wigan game so went for a wander along the canal. There emblazoned in foot high letters across an old railway bridge was the graffiti - Queen Rule - U2 are shit. Ahhh them were t'days...
DebsToo many repressed memories of Denaby nuns threatening to slipper me tail end. I'm going to pass on that one.
Just downloaded "Reproduction" by The Human League, which must go down as one of the most spell-bindingly bleak albums of all time.

BBYou obviously didn't live in the feral ghetto that was Denaby in the 70s.One of my abiding memories is the 2-foot high graffiti on the council garage block at the end of our road, "GAZ THE GET!" I never did know who Gaz was, or whether he deserved the epithet. But the graffiti was still there in the 90s.
