Agreed, could've been a heavy defeat but for him.

Man of match.

I thought he should have saved their first- although it sounds like he redeemed himself after that.

Thought Turnbull got caught to far off his line and not strong enough in the wrist once he did get a hand to it. But some good saves.

For all his good work in the match after their first soft goal , and he did keep us in the game my overriding thoughts of him is of a good keeper who should help his defenders out a great deal more by coming out for balls falling on his six yard line.

If he ever did progress to do this he would be back in the prem as a first choice.

He is a very good keeper. I had him down as MOTM along with Wellens and maybe Brown. Some of the saves he pulled off today were absolutely top class.

He made two good saves that were more down to poor finishing than anything else. He shouldn't have been lobbed like he was, but the woeful defending was not his fault was it. He went walkabout in the second half and nearly cost us a goal as well. Brown and Wellens were the outstanding men for us.

The one he tipped over the bar wasn't poor finishing, that was a great save

The one on one in the first half was a great save was very quick off his line for it and made it very difficult for the attacker.

It was close enough to him and a nice height. He had work to do but the lad had a free effort on goal and should have done better. He's a massive improvement on Woods though!

Dickov in his interview said he was at fault for the goal. He can only improve with having a run of games.

I can't believe after a couple of seasons of Gary woods that some folks are moaning about a quality keeper like turnbull! In all honesty if you can't appreciate that he's probably kept rovers in every game this season on his own then I suggest you go watch a simpler sport......like rounders.

Is that because his positioning was good?

Have you seen the save? His positioning was better than it was for their first goal admittedly.
