Seemed a big deflection for Reid's goal.

Agreed, all four goals were great today - and very different, two team goals from us and a coupla great strikes from Forest - I thought it was a good game and the result about right, altho I thought when they got it back to 2-2 that they'd get that third rather than us.

To be honest - looking at the teams we've played so far this season - we're doing ok in my opinion.

Wash your mouth out. There is NOTHING them scabby counts have ever done that deserves that adjective.

Choose from the following (exhaustive) list of acceptable adjectives when describing Maggie's Bitches.

A)Spawny
B)Deceitful
C)Ultimately wrong.

I was right behind Cohen's strike.  It moved all over the place.  There isnt a keeper in the land who would have stopped that, and the TV coverage doesnt do it justice.

Particularly pleased by the way our goals were scored. Do that consistently and we will games. The 2 goals were impressive from the Trees but there's little chance that we would succumb to those sort of strikes week in week out thankfully.  :rtid:

Think the deflection was off the goalkeeper's wrists further into the top corner. We'll soon see anyway.

I remember saying at the time- "there's nowt we could do about that one."

Shame we didn't close Reid down a bit quicker though.

Looked like Turnbull got a hand to Reid's strike.  That was an achievement in itself.

I actually clapped both of their goals (just a little) as they were both excellent individual goals but ours showed great teamwork and for that reason were just as impressive.  I was very happy with the result yesterday and more importantly in the way our players performed, Turnbull, Keagan and Browny were awesome.

It was a shame we didn't learn from the two 'sighters' we gave Reid before he eventually scored. Every club knows not to give him a chance from 20-30 yards out, we did it twice and got away with it before the third opportunity which he took.

Was at far end of pitch from me but seeing it again on tv it did look as tough there was a deflection when it went through the melee of players in front of Turnbull. Good strike anyway.

Must admit on our second goal on Saturday, I was half way out of my seat about to shout a Wellens for not shooting, thankfully I was able to turn it into a celebration instead. What do I know about football

Pity Chris Brown did not get onto the score sheet today-his work rate and skill make him in my estimation far and away the best centre forward in the championship.
What would you rate his value in todays transfer markets, bearing in mind his age etc. ?
