Leave the A1(M) at junction 49, signposted to Teesside, and join the A168, which after approximately 11 miles will become the A19. Approximately 19 miles later take the A66 eastbound towards Middlesbrough town centre. Stay on A66 past the town centre (on your right) and follow signs to the stadium which you will see on your left.

Matchday parking at the stadium is restricted to permit holders.

Matchday parking can be pre-booked via the Ticket Office on 0844 499 1234 (available for away fans)

If you do not have a permit, you are advised to use town centre parking.

TRAVEL BY RAIL

Visitors are located in the East stand (see map below).

Disabled: 170 spaces in total for Home and Away fans in the South and West stands plus one helper admitted per disabled person.



Programmes are priced at £3.00 and are available around the vicinty and inside the stadium.

WHERE TO DRINK

There is a bar at the back of the Away Stand which serves Tetley's and Carlsberg. Otherwise the Doctor Browns Pub is highly reccomended on footballgroundguide.com. "a ten minute walk away from the ground at the bottom of Corporation Road, in the city centre. This pub serves real ale, has SKY TV and on my last visit had a good mix of home and away fans, both inside and outside of the pub. On the corner opposite the pub, is also a sandwich bar, which was doing a brisk trade in amongst other things, trays of roast potatoes and gravy. To find this pub; If you were standing outside the stadium with the main entrance behind you, head over to your left and turn right down the road, going under a bridge. A little way down this road on your left, there is an underpass (there is usually some programme & fanzine sellers standing by its entrance). Go down through the underpass and as you emerge on the other side turn right and go down the road and through another underpass. You will emerge in a small retail park (there is a McDonalds over on your right), which you walk through unto you come to a main road. Turn right along this road and you will see the Doctor Browns pub over on your left."

Unless you are travelling south on the A19, don't cross over the River Tees.

From the South before you get to the River Tees flyover, get into the L/H filter lane and then as it splits into two lanes take the R/H lane heading onto the A66 East.
Follow the A66 until you arrive at the roundabout with the ground to the Left of you, turn left at the roundabout and there is quite a bit of free parking on the side roads and verges just off the roundabout.
If arriving fairly late (from about 7 onwards, most of these spaces will be taken - especially as they are anticipating a big crowd), then it may be best to turn off at the first roundabout on the A66 East and park in one of the car parks around Canon Park (where car dealers, trade counters, etc are situated). Its about a 15 min walk from there.

Whatever you do don't try and park in the official car park, its generally permit holders only and can take in excess of an hour to get out.

I also believe that the away fans are no longer in the South stand as they wanted there own fans behind both goals.

We have been in touch with Middlesbrough today and they can confirm that away fans can book a match-day permit for this game so just phone the number above.

Your also right with the away fans, our tickets are for the East Stand! Boro need to update their website.

I would suggest anyone leaving Doncaster after 4 to go via the a19 and askern to the m62, avoiding the a1 should be quicker, it's awful on Friday between Doncaster and ferrybridge.
