I don't like to see managers fired after promotion but the chairman and Hollaway have handled it very well.

Ian Holloway is the new Warnock , he never gets the backing he needs when he needs it most .Palace are like most upstarts , in it for the money . The manager has a small budget and is expected to take them to great heights . Like Neil before him he is not going to achieve his own personal ambition by being allowed to take the team through the seasons end . I hope he got a good pay off he is certainly a manager that any aspiring team would want .  Boro next then.

I heard his interview after the Fulham game and he sounded like a dead man walking. When a manager starts saying things like he maybe brought in too many players before the season you know the game is up. It's a shame because he adds a bit of colour to the Premier League and also because I'm not sure that Sir Alex himself could keep Palace up with what they've got.

I agree about losing Olly always a good watch. Im surprised he brought in that many players tbh sure he kept the majority of the team wich got him propmoted with Blackpool and just added a few. However his signing's were poor not enough top quality e.g. Dwight Gayle a starlet in a relegated team to think he could make the step up to the prem is stupid,

He did the same at blackpool at the time he left them they had 49 or 50 players,he got a percentage of certain players transfer fees thou so thats prob why he buys so many.

He wasn't fired. He resigned.

He basically said the players he brought in haven't had the right attitude and it pusses him off.

Holloway is an attention seeking media whore. I was gutted when they went up that he'd be on MOTD this season. Thankfully it hasn't lasted long.

I think you're completely wrong. I think he does what he does to take the spotlight off his players. I've seen and heard enough from him to know he's a honest, passionate bloke that loves the game. I with there were more people like him in the game.

Holloway is a funny guy, his QPR side were up at my old base in Kinloss for pre-season and I popped down to watch them train. During one of the matches he blows his whistle loudly stops the play picks up the ball and marches over to me and my mate, salutes us and says permission to carry on sir? after that he marched back and put the ball down and the team continued training (and no I wasn't an officer!).
