Anyone wants to comment on the game. :scarf: seems to be a lack of interest can't understand why.are there more important things around  we need a couple of players urgently mc cull looked a bit lightweight although should improve with experience.sad stat no shots on goal keeper never troubled. Two poor teams.difficult to see how we can improve.felt sorry for brown puts a lot of work in with little support.lets hope the inter break allows for the injured to recover. :scarf:

Yes but we couldn't have played any worse. We only got a draw because we played a very poor team who missed loads of easy chances

A point on the road in the Championship is a good result.

Looking forward to ending our Yeovil hoodoo next.

Nobody is arguing about the result. It was the performance that was abysmal.

We were bad but not as bad as previous games so didn't lose or concede a shed load of goals for a change, good job we were playing a poor side and that RT saved a spot kick.

To be fair to young Dicky he set the team up not to lose.OK it was not attractive because it was defensive and set up to hit them on the break. It was a fantastic result with the resources he had available and Turnbull was the bright spot for me.

but we now need 3 loan players in ASAP

We were abysmal for most of the game but we could easily have won. Wellens missed TWO sitters.

That's not the point yes a point away from home is a good result, but the fact is we were playing a poor team who is one of our relegation rivals and we couldn't manage a single shot on target and we were f**king awful that's very worrying!

I'm afraid that is the point.

The league table isn't based on performances, it's based on points.

Obviously but it isn't very encouraging when you can't manage a shot on target against a relegation rival and a poor team is it? If we were playing a good team yesterday we would have been on the end of another battering. If we play like we have been playing recently against Charlton and Yeovil we will not win against either of them.

we looked absolutely clueless in the final third.
dingles played with more confidence and were not afraid to take players on. their attacking style was very direct too.

rovers just looked like they had no idea once they got anywhere near the barnsley penalty area.

the makeshift defence did an ok job I thought.

How is saying that a point away from home in the second tier of English football looking through rose tinted glasses? fact of the matter is we got it, regardless of how we did it.

I'm chuffed to bits we stopped the rot and gained a point against one of our potential relegation rivals at their ground. I was talking to some of their fans in the pub beforehand and said I'd be happy with a draw as did many other Rovers fans.

Since JRs road show rolled out yesterday afternoon it seems that some fans are more bothered about scoring their own points instead of talking about the 1 we gained yesterday and the 2 that Barnsley dropped.

Up the Rovers

I think the game said more about Barnsley than it did for us. The fact that they couldn't score against us with shipping lots of goals lately and missing Jones shows how poor they are. They're down this season. Been on borrowed time since they got away with avoiding the drop when Pompey got -15

It was worth the expense and the visit to Oakwell to witness the brilliant save by Ross Turnbull.
