I really feel for you VSC guys. This barrage of unnecessary insults and criticism will hopefully stop shortly. Stand up for what you believe in and stay strong. I for one support all you do and say. I always remember that you all give your time and input and valuable advice to this forum and the general running of the VSC on a voluntary basis. Commendable and appreciated. Keep up the good work and a huge pat on the back for you all. IRWT

I am with twinkles.....Some of what people are saying is without any foundation at all.  Just spouting their view from a keyboard.

And a pat on the back for Twinkletoes as well for rushing in where angels fear to tread.

Well done the VSC guys. All of them. They have discharged their legally enforceable obligations with honour, care and sensitivity. If anyone thinks JR went because of a few folk on a forum, well, they haven't been able to work out what 15 years means about the man and about what that implies for his reason for leaving.

I did think long and hard before posting on here. But it had to be said. They are at the end of the day, humans with feelings, families, and friends like everyone else. People seems to think the VSC runs itself and it's just not the case. There is an awful lot of "behind the scene" work done that the majority aren't even aware of.  It's often forgotten when people get on the political football forum treadmill. Thanks BobG  IRWT

At the end of the day if people were genuinely as arsed as they're making out by kicking off on here or in that bas**rd facebook group which is becoming embarrassing to read nowadays they'd either attempt to get elected as a director and effect change themselves, or join and then do so.

This..

Having different views on events is all well and good, but if they disagree so strongly, then they should do something about it..

The VSC have done what they feel right for the trust and club, some have on occasions overstepped the mark as have posters including me have.

But both TB and JR have said the only reasons the deal from Sequentia has not gone through yet was that the money being paid to them was not being paid up front, it appears it is now.

Therefore the allegations about Sequentia  were not the problem with any deal. Yet it was the main drive of the VSC and other forum members in the know.

Most important thing for me is what happens from now, Paul Dickov be allowed to bring in at least two more loanees before the next game. Can the budget afford to keep players we have, will the takeover go through now.

Fully agree with the OP, if I lived in the UK I would try to be on the board, think they do a great job.

I dont know who as the correct view or the wrong view as my mind
Keeps on changing Thread by Thread it seems.

But at times it seems some Of the VSC board have to deem tin
Hats at times,a job that i could not do without saying what i think
To whoever was crossing me path.

So i take my hat off to the VSC board, that dont mean i agree with any Of Your views as book is still open for me.

But what will be interesting after all the dist as settled how This meltdown will effect This board in the long term.

How many will pay up for membership next term?

The OP seems to be gaining support on his pro vsc opinion. Could this be the voice of the silent majority?

No its not.
The VSC have done exactly what they were supposed to do in such a situation to try and stop history repeating itself and for that that they get my full backing. I'm a business man and have supported the Rovers for over 50 years and I'm flabbergasted how easily people will sell their soul without questions to a faceless purchaser with a half baked plan. I wish I'd have thought of it. Its no wonder people get in to finacial trouble so easily. Roll up, roll up come and buy these majic beans........................

Spot on. Maybe one reason TB has been so keen to see some money up front from SC is for irrefutable evidence they really have the money and are genuinely prepared to part with it.

Apologies if you were referring to the views of the silent majority and not the poster "Silent Majority" if you get my drift. :-)

Perhaps you would spend your time more profitably looking at the bigger picture than pissing yourself laughing Norfolk. Well done VSC keep up the good work of protecting this  OUR club.
