Here's a thought.

1) Richie Wellens is looking for the final decent contract of his career.

2) He has an agent who has done well for him in the past in maximising his income.

3) Wellens's agent knows that Donny both want and need Wellens.

4) Wellens has put in two excellent performances against QPR recently.

5) The media get hold of a story that QPR are on the verge of signing him for mega-bucks. (The story coming from...?)

Now, call me a cynic, but if I were Wellens's agent, that is EXACTLY how I would play contract discussions with Donny.

And then tell him not to re-sign for a club having so many fans with mentality's of seven year olds?

While someone has put a story out about QPR being interested in RW, a lot of QPR-types don't see it happening. Given the midfield options already at their disposal, they don't really see a need for Richie. I suspect they're right. What dosh is left in the QPR coffers will go on the striker they need to support Austin.

Expect to see the real interest in Wellens come from closer to home.

Rovin, are you hearing different things than me?

RS, do you have to move players out before you can bring other in?

PD, not necessarily. Although some today havent helped themselves.

Then again you have always made up whatever you wanted to believe despite any facts to the contrary.

Are some people on here retarded? How can you hear one thing and think another.

Dickov can strengthen but might move some out to get better players.

How do people get by paying their bills if they assume money is free?

You know what Rovin, I actually agree with you! I have heard the names of players rumoured to be coming in, but we will both have to wait and see wont we.

Here's our team for next

                              Turnbull

?                 ?                  ?                ?

?                 ?                 ?                 ?

                             ?                  ?

Subs anyone who wants a game.
Funny. But don't be surprised if Turnbull gets targeted by a couple of clubs this month. One might be Wolves; their keeper Hennessey looks like he's on his way after refusing to play yesterday and Ikeme's just broken his hand again.

I can't see the point in playing question marks in both the full back positions, especially when you have an exclamation mark available, I'd also play a colon and a semi-colon in centre midfield rather than flooding the team with question marks

Sounds like a recipe for an apostrophe.

People are backwards Matt. If they want listen to that interview and hear what he's saying they don't deserve ears.
