Seemed like a deflection as it left Gilks wrong footed.  Billy's goal for me even it costs more money!
Don't forget the low down header at the end of the first half that went just outside the post.

Gills was always gonna be flat footed for a ball in like that not knowing whether to wait for the touch or follow the line of the ball

For me, unless it's clear he got on the end of it - which it isn't - it has to go to Cotterill.  All of the momentum of the ball was Cotterill's and it doesn't look like its direction was altered by Billy.  Cotterill's all day for me. 


And yes, for any cynics amongst us  I'll put my money into the pot for the Billy goals fund that's running.
