Question

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but after Browny's Yellow Card is he suspended Saturday also? That just leaves young Alex as a striker available for selection. Does anyone know for sure?

According to the FA suspension list, Brown has 6 yellows and is not suspended.

Wellens and Sharp are both suspended on there - so it is up to date.

Think if anyone that reaches 10 now who hasn't already been banned for 5 before Xmas only gets 1 game ban,but maybe wrong

You only get a suspension for five yellow cards up until the end of the year. Brown was lucky that he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season at QPR, so avoided a ban by one day. You now have to reach 10 yellow cards before the first week of April to receive a two-match suspension after that you will get a three-match ban if you receive 15 yellow cards before the end of the season.

Would brown not only get a one match ban though having not served a ban for 5 if he reached 10???

No its 2 games for 10.  Just no ban for five after 31st December.   Wellens has served one for 5,  two for 10 and if he gets to fifteen he gets 3.  That is 6 matches for 15 yellow cards.  Could have been sent off twice for that.

I knew that but wasn't sure how it worked for 10 bookings if they hadn't served a ban for reaching 5
