Going for a 2-0 win for the Rovers today . We have a good record against this shower but don't expect to be 2-0 down like BB's wet dream ;)

Love your 'dreams' BB but this one really is out of the top drawer.  Can't remember the last time we came back from 2-0 down to win, home or away.

Cheers Dutch.  I should have qualified that by mentioning my shyte memory.  Can I caveat it then with 'in the league'.

I know you'll have the answer my friend.

I remember donkeys years ago (late 60's?) when Rovers played Rotherham utd in the Sheffield county cup at Belle Vue.

Rotherham were 2-0 up with about 15 minutes to go when my older brother and I decided to call it a day and bugger off home.............
Then, Rovers fetched substitute Keith Ripley on, who was a defender- put him on the forward line, and he scored a hat-trick!

Result Rovers 3 Rotherham 2

There's a moral in the story somewhere!

I was at that match BB, and stayed. Also I had been shouting for Ripley to be played up front with Alick for some weeks before that - so I remember feeling pretty good. I remember a poll in the Green 'un about that time for Rovers team of the season, position by position - and Ripley was chosen twice - once at Half-back and once at Inside Forward in the days when those positions existed.

That's the one where Keith Ripley deliberately legged me up and really cynical trip - Yellow for sure - most Refs may have gone for a Red (if they existed then of course)

Still it was a second pitch invasion as we rushed on I seem to remember at 2-2 but swamped the place when it went 3-2 Oh Joy ......

.... and still a very vivid memory too
