This plane

Where is it? I see the latest theory is that it has been landed somehwhere so it can be used in a 9/11 style attack.

I've said all along I don't think it's in the ocean.

Strange isn't it ??

There are so many factors to consider, not least the complete cooperation of everyone on board to be 'hijacked' like this.  Not a single communication from anyone on board 'if' it has been landed somewhere. Did the hijackers' confiscate every single cell phone, iPad and tablet on board ?

Have they killed everyone not part of the plan ?

Can the mobile phones not be tracked in anyway, even if turned off?

If the pilots did go rogue, turn off the comms systems and go wildly off course then the likelihood is that the plane has been shot down, having been categorised as "unidentified, hostile."

Now that these facts have emerged the country that did shoot it down will probably be willing to allow the truth about its fate to emerge. Had they done so earlier they'd have been accused of shooting down an unarmed passenger plane. Now they can argue, with some justification, that they were defending themselves against suspected terrorists.

I've just been reading a leaked report (how true it is I don't know) that says that 20 of the passengers were military defence personnel, and that they were specialists in electronic cloaking devices, capable of hiding a big plane. America and Israel lead the way in this technogy but Iran, Russia and China have closed the gap. Could this plane be hidden for phase two of the operation? Could it be used to deploy a nuclear warhead or a dirty bomb

Interesting concept Nudga, but I would doubt that would happen with an in-service airliner, for the simple reason that most air forces have militarised versions of airliners normally used as freighters, military passenger transport, refuelling etc.

Surely for such an experiment one of those aircraft would have been used, that or an empty regular airliner?

I'm with you .... and thankfully not with them

Will have to look where Marianas Trench is ... if its in that zone they will never get anything back I don't suppose

Possibilities-

1) it's was hijacked and crash landed in the sea or rainforest. The area it could have crashed in is so vast it may not be found for years.

2) it's been hijacked and landed somewhere where cellular devices would receive no service.

The Iranians on fake passports have to be of interest to the investigation surely. The whole thing just shows how good the worlds anti terrorism defences are though. Useless. I've said it all along, if someone wants to cause a major incident they will do.

Surely someone in Bentley would have spotted it?

Now this is the forum where more knowledgeable people than most of us (Mick excepted) discuss the ongoing missing plane theories.

Funnily enough I was watching the news this evening when they showed us a picture of that radar arc which went north to south and I thought  to myself "clearly The Radar on Diego Garcia hasn't shown a trace of the airliner!

Sproty.

Nice idea, but I can't buy that. You reckon the Yanks would have come under attack, foiled it, and then kept quiet about it? Never in a million years. The spooks have a PR battle to win. They need to keep the American people believing that motherhood and apple pie is under 24/7 threat. If there had been an attack on Diego Garcia, it would have been in the public domain the moment it happened.

I'm more and more convinced it has been landed somewhere. As for the passengers, who knows.
A lot of speculation that there was high value cargo being carried.

I see the BBC are reporting that the relatives of the Chinese who are missing are threatening to go on a hunger strike. Yeah because that will help them find a plane. Idiots.

They are going to go on hunger strike because they think the authorities aren't giving them all the info they can, I don't think they think it will help them find the plane. I've seen the shit they eat in china, a hunger strike would be a blessing out there.

The Russians have shot it into a million pieces from a nuclear sub in the region. All to divert the world from what was happening in Crimea..........and it has worked a treat.

Just a thought. The pinging to the geostationary satellite has enabled the authorities to work out the corridor that the plane was in when last it pinged. But apparently the ping occurs every 30-60 mins. So presumably, they ought to know the corridors it was in on a fairly regular timescale. But they haven't announced this. Seems strange.

Those poor families, I wouldn't even want to imagine how desperate, how frantic they must be that they think the only way to get answers is by endangering their own health by going on a hunger strike.

To lose a loved one in any kind of accident is agonising, just imagine the added torture of not knowing if they are dead or alive or even if they will ever find any trace of them.

That's what I can't work out too. They are hiding something , someone has a damn good idea where it is or where it was blown up and by whom if that's the case.

They think they have found some of the remains 1500 miles off the coast of Australia. Wonder what it was doing down there.

I don't think this is the reality for a minute but the best conspiracy theory I've read is that the hold was chock full of gold being shipped to China.

The whole thing is an audacious robbery.
