owls talk

according to the piggy board, some have tickets either sent or waiting to be collected for the away fans to be seated in the home ends due to their lot selling out. Is it going to be another Leeds fiasco.

Or are they that desperate with envy to see the mighty Reds.

Could be a potential mine field if you ask me.

What do you guys think if true.  :headbang:

I really don't care if there are Wednesday fans in the home end, so long as they sit quietly and behave themselves.

They might be talking about that extra away bit, not realising this has been part of the away end all season.

Besides, as long as they don't act like complete Kitsons I'm not arsed where they sit.

So that's why we can't buy tickets in the singing section! :chair:

A lot of the Leeds fans in the home end got a good hiding the last two fixtures. If they sit and behave, they won't have any problems.

Seeing as away fans appear to be allowed more freedom than the home fans at the Keepmoat, will the Wednesday fans in the home sections be allowed to stand up throughout the match, or will they be treated just the same as home fans in case the naughty Rovers trouble makers spot their lenient treatment and copy them?

As long as they're not arrogant enough like Leeds fans to come in the home end wearing their Shirts im not bothered.

It's not the ones in the shirts you want to worry about.

Fair few in the Polypipe escorted out and probably in other sections of the ground too. I didn't see anyone wearing colours but had badged tops on .
Would/should it put any newbies off from coming again ? Imo it shouldn't as there was little more danger than if they had been in the town shopping despite some of the odd flare ups we've read about on here. The atmosphere was generally very good and well the team played well and won......they will be back  :)

So now that we have had instances on more than one occasion where opposing fans have sat in the home end and nearly caused problems do the club need to revise their ticketing policy?

i'm not blaming the ticket office staff by the eway because i have never found them anything but helpful to either me or my dad

The problem is that if this keeps happening there will be a big fight one day and the club will end up with fines etc so it needs sorting now

Oh and yes I appreciate there is only so much that can be done if people are determined enough to get in the home end but if it can be seen that the club have done everything they can at least it is something they could not be blamed for

To be fair, the ticket office were checking people on the database. I have a season ticket but took my daughter to the game. I've never been asked for my details when buying her a ticket before but I was on this occasion. given she can barely see over the top of the counter, she doesn't look much of a potential troublemaker either

I think there were more Leeds fans in the home end than Wednesday fans.
