If we stay up, I would offer deals to Turnbull, Tamas, Cotterill, Coppinger, Meite, Keegan, Wakefield and McCombe (short-term - could be decent back-up if fit).

I think McCombe will be released though, and obviously I'd be keen for Sharp to come back next year, if that's in any way possible.

I don't think they are all guaranteed to sign. Particularly players like Turnbull and Tamas who we'll probably face competition for, but I'd like to see us make a proper attempt to keep them (i.e. not leaving it until 3 days before the season, like the Tommy Spurr fiasco last year).

As for Billy Paynter, I find it a shame that his chances have been so limited for us this season after what he did for us in L1, but it doesn't make sense to offer him a deal if he won't be used.

There's two very different sides to his character. I'm keeping the solid defender, losing the loose canon.

Personally I'd keep the boy Tomlinson. It will help us sell more shirts to One Directioners, if nothing else. 

I don't know why you would release Maxted. He's not had the opportunity to play in the first team due to two excellent 'keepers. I'd give him another year and see if we could loan him out for a couple of months.

I'd keep Maxted if Johnstone wasn't coming back.

I'd probably get rid of Turnbull if Johnstone came back. He's quality but I imagine he's on a fair whack. I'd bring in an older head who's happy to be a number 2,  but has a bit more experience than Maxted.
