I like Barton. I think he's a top footballer who would have gotten a lot more caps for England had his attitude been better.

Doesn't that just sum up how shit the current generation of England players are. His international career lasted 15 minutes. He spent that time chasing the Spanish midfield like Wile E Coyote on Ketamine chasing Roadrunner on whizz.

He's a very good player. Not top class though. He's been very stupid in the past but that doesn't necessarily make him stupid. The bloke speaks sense at times.

Barton is a very good footballer. Unfortunately he happens to be an absolute pillock. I agree with the notion that if he actually behaved himself, he would have a fair few caps for England.
