Kitson of the year (2014)
« on April 06, 2014, 01:59:08 am by Bentley Bullet »
A few years ago my grandson’s under 7’s football team played against a local side that included a lad who had obvious social problems and was so clumsy and aggressive that he was frequently taken off the pitch when his behaviour got out of hand.  What made him more of a threat was the fact he was head and shoulders bigger than the rest of the kids. Now the same boy still plays for the same team, but now in the under 13’s league.  He is now a different kid.  Through perseverance of his coaches he now plays the game fair and is no longer a threat to the other kids around him.

I have always thought that the people who helped and stood by him should be proud to have been involved in his re-development, but following today’s performance by Birmingham city’s Nikola Zigic, I’m left wondering if his mentors have actually deprived the kid of a professional football career doing what he was naturally good at.

What sickens me is that Zigic was brought on to cheat in a way I haven’t witnessed since Kitson was brought on for Portsmouth to do exactly the same a couple of seasons ago – resulting in the same fate for Rovers.

I nominate Nikola Zigic for Kitson of the year.

Zigic is the  same in every game that he plays.
He ought to start with a yellow card just to keep him in check, he is a disgrace, when he isn't fouling he's either diving or moaning to the ref.
I'd hate it if he played for us. I wish animal could have had a couple of tackles on him, he'd have disappeared for good.

I'm sure I must have been the only one to see him smack Brown in the back of the head near the dugouts, Quinny nearly gave him a Glasgow kiss mind

Yeah that ...

... got to agree Animal or Sarge would have given him something to roll around for

Obnoxious way to play the game

He must have been within a whisker of elbowing Quinn when he was stood with the Ref

He Zigic was showing Ref what Quinn had allegedly done to him and threw the elbow - and as I said it came close to Quinn who was right behind him at the time

I'm just thankful I do not have to watch Birmingham every week. Abso-f**king-lutely dire to watch. Long ball. A team of nigglers and cloggers. And Zigic... f**k me. If he's a footballer, I'm Roger, and so is my wife. Definitely in with a shout of Kitson 2013/14 season. Mind you, I'm finding it hard to get past that smug fecker Adkins.... Need proof?

He's getting paid £40k a week, which is more than I earn in a year... one of us is doing something wrong!

I would argue he's doing something right.

Maybe we all need to appoint an agent to get us new deals at work?

A Natural antidote to the behaviour of Zigic, put him in a room with Billy Whitehurst,Mick Harford,Kevin Hulme or Gary Brabin, any of these fellas could Rehabilitate him and make him see the error of his ways
