LCFC and DRFC Alliance FB Page

Great Idea from LCFC fans, lets get everyone on it. They are trying to get a pre season friendly organised in memory of Ray Dunning and Roger Evans (a fan who died outside their ground against Brighton this season). They are also planning to come to one of our games next season and some of our fans are on about going to theirs. So lets all get on this page and show your support. If you were there at leicester then you will see the special connection between our fans and theirs that was created that day. Just search "Leicester City Doncaster Rovers" and it should come up. It is also on the Metro site

Maybe they could loan us a few stars of the future and a top keeper and goal scorer all for free of course

It's nice to see fans come together for something that is tragic and bigger that 22 blokes kicking a ball around. All for alliances. At the end of the day, we are all the same.

Maybe, with a bit of thought, a legends fund-raising game for the families could be arranged or somesuch!

And obviously this ended up in slagging matches, threats, ego trips and accusations of stealing from a bereaved family.

I'll not go into too much detail (it's all over Facebook for the interested) but hardly a fitting tribute. Human nature, eh?

Not human nature, its the way of the internet.  Half of that stuff would never get said to anyone's face.

Social media brings out the very worst in people.

Ah Facebook. Some people say it's good but largely it isn't.
