They'll be fine. The authorities won't let a big club like them go to the wall.

I know it's irrational and their fans weren't to blame but I struggle to feel too bad for Coventry due to the Robert Betts affaire

Miserable b*****d, aren't I?

Also in the same boat! They were all too happy to plant a turd on the small club and think they'd get away with it.
Obviously don't want to see them go bust but I certainly don't lose sleep about seeing them struggle in the league.

And the ghost of Ken Richardson rears his ugly head again

Did n't Betts move to Coventry on Richardsons watch, at a time when it looked like DRFC would be no more?

Coventry refused to pay under League rules because, they argued, we ceased being a league club whilst they haggled over the price

Yep, weaseled out of a measly £50k (IIRC) at a time they were finishing 14th in the Premier League on a technicality. Fuck 'em.
