London/South-East based Rovers
« on June 27, 2014, 09:50:27 am by VivaRovers »
Don't forget that Doncaster Belles play Millwall away in the FA Women's Super League this Sunday. The game is a 2pm kick-off, being played at Beckenham Town FC (nearest station; Eden Park on the London to Hayes line).

It was great to see pretty much as many Belles supporters as home fans at the away game at Yeovil last month, so would be brilliant to back the team and outnumber the home support again.

Viva,
Thanks for the wake up call.

If I can make it I will be there. The main game for me is the one in September at Berkhamsted V Watford.

I promised the wife a special wedding anniversary present with a meal tied in.

That will be seven of us going but wearing the red and white hoops.

"Come on you Belles"

Beautiful day down in London so hope a few are tempted out to watch this one, could be crucial for the Belles with Sunderland having won yesterday.

I am looking forward to the game against Oxford in August. Five minutes down the road from me.

Finished goalless this afternoon sadly, the Belles had all the pressure, but just couldn't create the opening. Still unbeaten in the League, but down to second behind Sunderland now.

VIVA,

I was there and how we never scored I just don't know. I like the way they played their football and I put it down to the Millwall keeper that we never scored. My next game is the Watford away game which involves 20mins total travel time and not the 5 hours it took today.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention I really enjoyed watching the Belles for the first time, I am now a convert.

Five hours?! Blimey, good work. Glad you enjoyed it, despite the lack of goals.

I'm guessing you were the fella wearing the Conference-vintage Vandanel hooped Rovers shirt. Saw you in the bar and wandering round the touchline at the start of one half.
