She brought some fruit back from Spain and said have some 'Nisperos' - I don't know what they are in any other language. So we check the Spanish-Dutch dictionary and it says Nispero is a fruit called Mispel in DutchSo we check the Dutch-English Dictionary and it says a it is a fruit called MedlarI am still none the wiser so I check and English Dictionary - and it says Medlar is a Spanish fruit called Nispero

British Strawberries can't be topped for me. Anything from anywhere else just doesn't have that proper Strawberry taste. They can - cream or ice cream normally Pomegranate is up there but too much fannying about.
