further takeover bids?
« on July 24, 2014, 11:36:20 pm by mushRTID »
Taken from meeting thread;

*Since takeover failure several other takeover options been told categorically no!

Can anyone shed more light on this? Have I missed this somewhere?

I was surprised when Gav said it - no more detail given out at all! Apart from they were told, 'no.'

Details please, if JR has the funds then surely TB should sell, as he doesn't want the job.and JR would love the job
And do a proper job at that!

I called it earlier today. Things are just too weird for there not to have been further bids/interest.

It's been proven that he hasn't got the liquid funds that are required, the FL won't accept IOU's or his rolex as security

It was to be expected.  The LT/JR TO had some reach in terms of news, so when it failed it alerted others that the club could be for sale.

Expect some form of statement on that to clarify the position further very soon.

Jr has had his chance over the last few seasons he has done far too much damage than good.

Everything after the word 'IF' is irrelevant.

What would stop JR who still has a major sharehoding in the club (allegedly) as well as substantial loan outstanding being invited back as Chairman. Keeping the Company in place who currently own the club and "buying" out TB and DW. There would be no change of ownership so avoiding all the tests on new owners. JR could then bring in alleged "backers" and takeover is complete. Wasn't part of the problem in the failed TO that it was a new company. Or am I being too simplistic.

I am not saying I want this to happen but just posing the question

Think that counts as a significant change in the club ownership and would still be the subject of the football league approval

I suspect you are correct Welling.  The FFI requirements would still need to be met, I'd guess.
