PD's reputation as a competent manager took a battering in the Championship last season. He now has the opportunity to prove to all that he is a good manager now in League 1. He has to praised in staying at Rovers when he could have walked away, given the chaos at the club over the Summer. Hopefully, we can put that behind us.

Terrific result and well done to all involved. Like last season, I'd like to wait and see how things are after 8-10 games before getting either too excited or too depressed. Looking forward to seeing the "new" team in the flesh next Saturday though!
