Doncaster Rovers FC (First Team) v Port Vale FC (First Team)
Football League 1
Referee: Eltringham, Geoff
Assistant Referee: Smallwood, William
Assistant Referee: Strain, Darren
Fourth Official: Wootton, Ricky

A year to the day since Mr Eltringham refereed the Rovers v Blackburn game at The Moat! Maybe a good omen!

May I be the first to say...

UTTER f**kING SHITE

No idea of the game, there must have been some trauma in the birth canal, he was clearly not breastfed by his mum, bullied at school and a total useless Kitson!!

Why are they always shortarse fat b*st*rds?! If it were later in the season he would get a big fat zero. However, there will probably be worse to come, so it has to be a 1. F*ck*ng useless though, and how Forrester was sent off? - the west stand Lino made that decision - appalling!!

Still wouldn't have won though, we were just as sh*t, but no excuse for the ref being a ****! Now, I'm quite mild mannered really but I wanted to run on to the pitch and thump his stupid fat face then kick his b*ll*x while he was down! W*nk*r!!!

Boo hoo. He sent one of our players off for a forceful challenge. There must be something wrong with his brain.

Extremely poor. Got three important decisions wrong. The third goal was a foul on Steer. The Port Vale 3 should have been yellow-carded at least for his tackle on Wabara (the idiot didn't even give a free kick) and the Forrester challenge was not a red card. Relied too much on a very poor assistant on the West Stand side (aren't they all?)

We didn't deserve anything from the game, but we didn't deserve such inept refereeing.

He did in the end, but he was very reluctant, and wasn't going to at first.

Looks like the refs  from last season have been chatting about us to their  mates

I can tell you with absolute confidence that PDs constant whining at the 4th official is well known and despised by the Referees.
He's one of the worst at it and it does us no favours whatsoever with the officials.

I should add that Forrester was pulled back just before the red card and should have had a penalty.

That is probably true, but the officials have the solution in their own hands. Send him to the stands. Once he cops a couple of fines for it he'll settle down a bit.

If they think the solution is to give every 50-50 decision against Dickov's team then they are not fit to be refereeing at this level.

TRB,
I think its more a case of them sub-consciously giving unclear decisions against "the wasp in their ear"
