OK, let's bring some analysis into this. I warned you all.Opening game attendances (red = league one)Blackpool: 9,002 (7,758 home)Bury: 6,380 (5,888)West Ham: 11,344 (8000)Bristol C: 9,291Preston: 10,070Cardiff: 11,873Millwall: 7,542Crewe: 6,081 (Belle Vue)Last 3 average attendances at league one level13: 7,23808: 7,97807: 7,725Vs. Port Vale 08: 8,04007: 7,84806: 5,511 (Belle Vue)05: 5,209 (Belle Vue)Anecdotal:4,100 season tickets/hospitality sold + 700-900 away fans expected = 4,800 / 5,000.ConclusionAt a bare minimum there will be 5,000 there (if no home fans walked up on the day) and as a maximum there is unlikely to be above 9,000 as we only achieve that in the championship. A much more realistic range would be between our last two first home games at league one level, i.e. Bury 6,380 and Millwall 7,542. I think Port Vale will bring more than Bury so I would add 300 to that which takes us to 6,680. I also think the Bury game suffered from the fall-out of the previous season. There are also a few other things that may add to the attendance tomorrow including offers, previous 2 victories and generally better fan engagement + weather (expected to be sunny right round 3)My Guess7,18045 mins..and that's it folks. This competition is over.
