Went to the Cast theatre in town last night to see Kes. If you get chance to go its on till Saturday its well worth a visit.

Place was almost full. There were tickets available on the night. It was just like the film..very good and funny. 7.30pm start till 10pm with 15 min interval

I've got tickets for Friday, looked a t getting a couple more but there was only odd seats downstairs and only back couple of rows upstairs (although still good view).

I hope they go on tour and bring it to Birmingham, they need some culture down here!
I still love the film, having been present at its world (yes world) premier at the ABC cinema in Doncaster.
Presumably no venue in Barnsley could have coped with a film that was in colour and also had sound?
