Im coming to England for my first trip in 24 years plane lands at Heathrow at 11-35 can i make a train at Kings cross at 2pm thanks Brian

Did that journey a couple of weeks ago. You'll have plenty of time if you don't fanny about getting off the plane and looking for your luggage. Straight thru on tube no changes, takes about 50 minutes and only £5.70.

In theory, yes.  If you allow for at least an hour from arrival to leaving the airport, it is only an hour on the Picadilly line to KX.

No guarantees depending on flight delays etc, but I've done it myself.  Landed from Boston at 0630 and was at KX just after 8.

A quicker, but more expensive, option might be the Heathrow Express train to Paddington, then tube up to KX.

If you're travelling at the weekend, check the TFL site. There are usually underground lines closed for maintenance.

I decided not to risk it and hired a car instead thanks for trying to help can you help again is there a cash turnstile at Rochdale
