I guess Dickov can stay

Now what a substitution right move at right time another away win and the whole team and tactics were brilliant. With better finishing it could have been 8-1. well done

Sounds like better finishing from Main he could have had a hat-trick. Pleased for Theo. Sounds like the defense is increasingly solid and we have attacking options (as long as Copps stays fit). I think the competition between Bennett and Forrester is gunna prove beneficial. Looking forward to Crewe already.

#consistency.

Good win yesterday but papers over the cracks.  It will take a long consistent run to win me over.

Don't get carried away. If we can't beat a bunch of postmen and builders etc and then ten men, then we may as well pack up altogether.

I remember us being 1-0 up at Rochdale and then loosing to nine men. The postmen were ex-Bristol City players and current City trainees.

If you could put a soundtrack to Dickov's time with us, what would it be?, i would plump for John Lennon's 'Living on Borrowed Time'.

The Theme Tune from Dixon of Dock Green (for the younger on here a Police TV series of the 1960's)

Dick-ov = Dick's son = Dixon

He is always In the dock with the fans and claims he never has the rub of the green

If we have a successful run Dickov's song should be FU Right Back by Frankee, aimed at those over critical fans??

Why can't we all just back off and give the man time. We talk about other club's supporters trying to oust their managers and we continually have this stupidity.
Please however satirical , get behind the manager and team and give credit where credit is due.
The manager does read this as do many of our players.

Regards,

Paul.

If we win a game in hand I think we will be playing to par so far this season.

Hot too often we agee mate but you are bang on there. Theres been just as many good signs this season as there have been bad. Nothing bad enought to warrant the fella getting sack. We've strengthened a poor squad with ES, AB and SJ and we have improved. Amazing that.

If we win both Hoola it's a good platform to push on and chase down plenty of average teams that are up near the top.

I remember not so long back a similar situation with SOD upto xmas we were near the bottom.  People shouting for his head. After xmas we hardly lost agame and a lot of folks had to eat humble pie. I for one think he is doing a decent job and results have been dependant on the players he has had available to him at the time. We aint going to win them all just look at Bristol City.  We should support the team and manager. It would help if our home support was as enthusiastic as the away support. Some times it feels like playing in a empty stadium.
