Should I Stay Or Should I Go

Right it's decision time. I am aware of an undercurrent on this forum that doesn't like me. So as a true democrat I'm going to put it to the vote. Over to you.

Stay.  It is a free country and we are free to disagree with you as many do.

By the way, you are not the "Voice of Reason".  I was - that was my username on 606 around 10 years ago!

Stay but not for the options given in the poll.

You might be an egotistical, pedantic, annoying, wind up merchant but you are prepared to present the alternative opinions that usually don't go down well on here.

Do votes from family members count double?

I think you are entertaining and quite funny and cant see why you would wish to leave? Some people take posts on a football forum a little too seriously...

You should stay.......

Because what is a bloke, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows you took the blows but did it your way!

Stay.

I don't usually agree with your views, and it has taken me a while to enjoy them, but I do find the posts between you and BST entertaining, and I usually learn from them.

But I find that I admire your ability to ignore jabs and let things roll off your back, can you maybe lighten up a bit and not be so pedantic?

I'm not saying I want to leave. I was beginning to form the impression that I was not wanted around here. Being a magnanimous soul I decided to put myself up for eviction. I always thought the silent majority were with me even if they didn't always agree with me.

But the way Billy and BobG were having a go at me lead me to question that feeling before deciding I was right all along. I know they are both revered around here so I just wanted to check what the real feeling of the forum was. I think you hit the nail on the head. Some people take things far too seriously.

I hear what you say. If I'm not evicted from the forum I will desist in future from being pedantic (to the best of my ability).

Haven't you done yourself down a bit with the poll, Mick, with three options for 'Go' and only two for 'Stay'?

As it happens, I won't vote, because the issue of who posts on here has absolutely nothing to do with me.  As with any forum user, I can read their posts or not.

Up to you,  Mick. No one is forcing you out and you clearly can stand your ground in an argument, even in the face of overwhelming evidence proving you wrong.

I know I made it harder for myself but that's because I'm such a magnanimous soul. I think I've seen enough now. Despite this forum being a den of vipers for lefties, there is more than enough support for me to decide to stay. Fair play to those of you that disagree with me but have voted for me to stay. Those who voted for me to stay, I thank you for your support and I will move forward with renewed vigour.

Long live free speech!

Well, you are a funny little ferret 99.9% of the time but there are millions in the world that are worse. Most of the time I want to thump you it's true but no one should feel forced away. Besides I have a theory.. Like Katie Hopkins I think there must be a fairly likeable person inside the irritating persona you delight in projecting..... ;)

Oh bless you, round here a funny little ferret is some one a bit rum, a bit quaint.. And to be fair you do apologise when you realise you have gone too far...Well to me anyway.

You do make me chuckle at times though... When you aren't Billy baiting that is. :)

I'm glad you find me amusing. I try not to take things too seriously.

If only Cameron would agree to debate with his opposition like IC1967 & BST, he was only elected to serve the country does he have the right to refuse to debate with other leaders, i don't understand the fear.

I've decided to send Dave a copy of my debates with silly Billy so he can see how easy it is to expose leftie drivel. Hopefully my 100% record of never having lost a debate to a leftie will inspire Dave to take on  Milliband. I just wish I was prime minister. I'd make Ed look daft and would ensure a landslide Tory victory.

There is a perfectly reasonable explanation for what you are on about. Have you looked at the timings of the posts? No I didn't think so.

Now you have said there is a book of lies. I hereby issue you and all your leftie mates a challenge. Now a book to me seems like it would have at least 200 lies in it. However I will make it easy for you. Out of the thousands of posts I've done it should be easy to find just 20. If you can achieve this modest goal I will forward them to Dave and will immediately leave the forum.

Over to you.
