Acorn beer really good. They have got a pub in Barnsley which does the whole range, a great place.

My dad worked in Africa in the late 60s and the fellow ex pats would go on about their local beer. Dad told em he drank cider on the off chance anyone ever had a Darleys. Darleys = canal water.

The Old No. 7 ?

That's the one. Had my Barnsley works  leaving do in there. Great pub, even my larger drinking mates liked it.

Flying Scotsman on Silver St (Old Reds Bar) is a good pub, Chantry Brewery (a Rotherham Brewery) have reopened it and they have got a great selection of their beers and there is also the Doncaster Brewery bar that I think the local population needs to support with a great selection of their own beers and various ciders!!

I saw Frank Turner play in there last year!  From Wembley Arena in front of 12,000 to Old No7 in front of 100.  A brilliant night.
