Evans only said they were likely to reecall Clarke Harris. Maybe some sort of coded msg to Dickov to try and get him to start Johnson?

Well he'll have to play today if Tyson is injured

I don't know why Dickov persists in using him over our own youngsters.

Came on as sub today and did nothing to merit being better than our youngsters.

Steve Evans tells me Richard Wood has been recalled from Crawley & they are likely to recall Johnson Clarke Harris from #DRFC ext week #RUFC

GOOD

My dad GRHS told me never to judge a man on one appearance so I don't ... but I have seen enough now

If we are p****d off though what must Rotherham be thinking ? God how much did they squander on HIM ?

Clarke-Harris became the record signing of Rotherham United at the end of the 2014 transfer window. He scored his first goal for the Millers with a superb 25-yard strike that gave them the lead in a 2-1 win over Leeds United

The same Steve Evans who won a poll here as being the most hated opposition manager.

Waste of space today. At one point he was being played a ball from midfield (furman I think?) and he wasn't even looking? Obviously not interested.

... and the hoof out towards he dug out with 5 mins to go when he was on Centre spot. It looked like he did not think " I SHOULD battle for that". Once theur RB got it JCH suddenly decided to amble over and challenge for it

I jested earlier that we should give Hayter a punt but that was a job he did well .. he would have known to have been over there instinctively and held it up before playing in others. Even at their respective ages I know which player I would still like in #mylocalteam

Send him back and throw Mandeville in. He looked up for it when he came on.

Recalled by Rotherham. I don't think he will be a big loss.

Thank god for that. I know I keep bleating on about it, but what exactly was the point of him being played at the expense of our youngsters over the last few games?!

We'll probably respond by recalling Theo, although it gives us a great opportunity to get Mandeville and Jack McKay involved.

FUTURE: Paul Dickov was keen to support Steve Evans recall request as it now gives an opportunity to our youth for the next two games #DRFC

Dear god!,Evans chooses when our youngsters play?

Leave him out of the squad at the weekend and put a young lad in instead, why give him game time if he's going back?

In fact, send him back, his attitude is crap and his application is crap!

Didn't we get rid of Uche Ikpeazu for this exact reason? I personally thought UI offered a lot more to the team and caused defences no end of trouble.

Neither do I !

I don't make a habit of criticising our own Players - but now he has gone (hopefully for good) I cannot be more pleased.

He did not look interested at all - and perhaps he can become a very good player in time - and his (seeming) lack of interest was hampering that journey

Anyway he has taken a better journey imo back to Rotherham

Young lad, needs a kick up the backside.

This season we have fielded the following strikers: JCH, Uche, Theo, Curtis, Mandeville and Tyson.

Reach your own conclusions.

And people wonder why we aren't free scoring. You can only f**k with the prick you are given. The level of our frontmen is very average indeed but we have to stick to our budget.

Agree that we should have better strikers but the ones PD has played regular are all the same runners but not foxes in the box. Mandeville is skilful and different to the other strikers whether he is ready to start not sure. But 19 goals from 22 home games not a lot to lose.

Evans wouldn't give us a virus never mind a good player!, Clarke-Harris looked some player at Oldham the confidence of playing and scoring is what he misses.
The move to Rotherham hasn't done him any favours, he has the ability he needs to realise you to make it as a top player you need to work hard as well.
I was disappointed we didn't go in for him when he was at Oldham, it just hasn't quite worked out better to know now than sign him permanent.
Mandeville has deserved a shot at the first team for most of the season, do what other clubs do show faith in him, pick him from the start and see how he goes.

Record signing for Rotherham??? I wonder if they want to buy some magic beans.?? Awful player and a total waste of time and money...That lad needs to sort his life out else he will find himself playing North East counties football at his current performance levels...He must have more talent than weve seen is his only defence...

I'll buy his ticket on the X78 if he can be arsed to walk as far as the bus station.

I suspect the lad has talent to burn, but if someone doesn't grab hold of him and hammer some work ethic into him, he'll be in the Conference in 2 years.

I work with an Oldham fan and he said Clarke-Harris looked a good player once every four games.  I'd say we've seen it less than that.
