A lad stopped me in town the other day and asked if id buy a CD from him. It's a Donny band (from Conisbrough I think) trying to promote themselves. I hadn't heard of them before but they are serious enough to have done videos and stuff.

Not really my cup of tea to be honest but you have to tip your hat to those who give it a try. I like the fact they sing about busses and booze but I'm not sold on the style. The lad in town reckoned they are a bit like the Arctic Monkeys. They aren't.

Iberian- kipper sold his van last year for very tidy profit. You should come on over in sept and pay the show a visit. I think you would bump into a few faces from your past! Music all day sat and Sunday . Shameless plugs will appear on this site closer to the time

The video it's filmed in Doncaster?

Bits of Doncaster. They have performed most of that video in a derelict site somewhere in an effort to reinforce their 'street' credentials. They could have performed in the pleasant grounds of Conisbrough castle for instance but that wouldn't have sent out the right message.
