One fan got really frustrated, tweeted us EVERY day saying "tell Dickov to get the pen out". We laughed, and then decided to ask him in...

Excellent. It's good that Ryan thinks outside the box. It's all publicity.

I'm surprised people knew about the signing yesterday and it didn't get leaked!

I think that's a breath of fresh air and hopefully we won't lose out like we have in the past.

Agreed DVR. And that does call into question, seriously, the behaviour of some of thosewho used to haunt the KM. Naming no names, buit a certain journeyman journo who likes his rugby league does spring to mind for one.

The Rovers use of social media is impressive...hijacking the poor england performance...getting a fan to do the official announcement of a signing all great stuff. Keep up the good work drfc.

Without wanting to open up the debate again, one of the benefits of having new owners other than JR is that one or two faces who had been around a long time have now gone and the ship seems a lot tighter (we all know who they were)...Our social media work has advanced massively recently and we now seem to take advantage of these opportunities which is a good thing so good work Rovers..

I have always said that we need to some how differentiate ourselves. I think social media helps to make our brand a little more friendly and raises the image of the club.

Keep up the good work Ryan!

Maybe, just maybe the seeds of a feel good factor may be returning. More positive stories making their way into the national media can't do any harm at all.

I like the way the media and communications team are doing things. It's different and we need to be different to be recognised.

Early days yet though.

Made me laugh, Lee is a top top lad, he & his brother Carl both grew up with our two sons Mark & Leigh together in the same street, as kids all four were Man Utd (Mark & Lee), Newcastle (Leigh), Carl (Arsenal) mad & football crazy. That was until we got them all to Belle Vue in the early 90s as bairns from the conference days. Their ride has been has been a real rollercoaster since with more ups than downs, & I believe they are all still true Rovers fans
