DVR, that's not good. From the BBC commentary I'm getting Williams doesn't seem to be much in the game. Would that be your take? Lack of service perhaps?

The midfield, Wellens especially, are getting closed down very quickly.

The ref has had a few opportunities to get the yellow card out  but has declined every option.

Southend were apparently poor last Saturday against Wallsall. Obviously, PD hasn't looked how Wallsall played, and tried to exploit the weaknesses in Southend's game. Instead Rovers are being made to look very ordinary. Perhaps changes need to be made at half time to liven things up.

Williams has had nothing but hopeless punts played forward, we want too much time on the ball, not closing them down either, we look as though we have upped the pace so far shame it took 47 mins
