Consider this,  manager has been appointed but not announced due to unsuccessful interviewees not being able to be reached. I'd say that was acting professionally

I would hope that whoever was interviewed would be that passionate about the job they would have their mobile with them expecting the call, be it successful or otherwise.

I'd tend to agree but going on Liam Hodens tweet earlier I'd have to think otherwise

Yep sod em, if they were that interested they'd make themselves contactable, send em a letter, most failed interviewee's don't hear anything in the real world

I understand some of those who were interviewed for the #drfc job had still not been informed of the outcome this morning #starlive

Hope you don't mind,I copied and pasted it Lipsy.

Maybe the successful candidate hasnt signed the deal yet, until the ink is dry no point in telling people they were unsuccessful. That way you can pretend they were the first choice.

Haven't they launched a probe to see if there ever  was "life in Dingleville".
Unfortunately the probe landed on the side where the sun can never penetrate the clouds to power the panels on the probe.
Apparently last spotted over somewhere called Oakwell.

I used to work in recruitment some years ago. I represented a contractor who went for an interview at a top client of ours. He thought the interview went well and was keen, not least because he lived locally.

Usually with contractors we got an answer within 24 hours, but we couldn't get any feedback for this chap, who got increasingly frustrated. After four working days (with a weekend in between) we were told he'd been unsuccessful.

Subsequently I found out that he'd done a really good interview and they left liked him, but they then saw another candidate who was much better. They offered the contract to this person but there was then much to-ing and fro-ing over details. Eventually he accepted, but my guy was kept hanging on as "first reserve." The other candidates had been told the following day they had been unsuccessful.

I wonder if something similar is going on at Rovers?
