Tv Arial advice
« on November 29, 2015, 02:24:48 pm by mushRTID »
Looking for some advice please chaps.

I want to use a splitter on the main TV arial on the roof to add a socket to 3 bedrooms. Effectively creating 4 arial sockets instead of currently the one in the living room.

I want to check if doing this will weaken the signal or not and if anybody has done this themselves and can advise what splitter to use?

Any help would be appreciated! cheers.

We have a splitter in our loft that distributes to 7 rooms in our house. No loss of signal/reception. Have the cable from the splitter direct into the tv and not into an aerial point as the more connections you have the reception weakens.

We have a cable from the sky dish, down to the sky box and then a cable from the sky box up to the splitter so we can watch sky in all the 7 rooms. We can only have one channel on at a time but it is handy for the sake of another cable.
