Rovers are one of only two clubs ever to reach the final of FA Youth Cup and have never played in the top tier. Given that the other was Chesterfield in the 1950s, our achievement in 1988 was really quite something special.

Remember it well Kevin Campbell tore us a new one in first leg
Be interesting to know how careers went from there

Campbell was the difference and went on to make over 300 appearances in total for Arsenal and Everton
If he'd played for us we would have won because I don't think they had anyone else as good as Brevett, Rankine and Raven.

Doncaster Rovers
No. Position Player

The ones highlighted are the ones from the Arsenal side who IMO went on to have decent careers - maybe not as many appearances as Ranks, Brev or Raven but certainly at a higher level.

Shoulda worded it for a longer prolongued period of time at a higher level perhaps!
Brevett was amazing for us - still my all time favourite Rover!
